A look at one of the stranger bedroom fetishes that go on around the world of dressing up in baby wear.

There are many things that people like to do in the privacy of their own homes. Some could be considered a little eccentric but harmless. Some are looked at with a little more distaste - particularly those carried out in the bedroom. However, the pervading feeling is that of 'each to his own' providing no-one else is getting hurt.

So, what of those bedroom fetishes? With the advent of Ann summers, much bedroom kinkiness has been brought out into the open and is now looked upon as harmless fun to spice up your love life. And more often than not, this theory works. I can't honestly say I haven't tried some of it myself so I speak from experience.

With each different relationship, people discover that what is one man's turn on is another woman's turn off. A delicate line is drawn where fantasies and fetishes are brought into play and boundaries are set. These boundaries can, however, be moved later on once the security of the relationship has been established.

Many a joke has been made out of people who like to indulge in whips and chains. As I said, a little light bondage never hurt anyone. (Did I say that, or just think it?) Spanking is considered normal as long as it is not accompanied by pain and role play is something that each couple can take as far as they personally wish.

However, there is one fetish that you don't hear anybody shouting about but which is very much a part of some people's lives. That of dressing up in baby wear. Yes, it's true, yes it does happen and yes, some people do get a kick out of it. Don't ask me how because this is one experiment me and my partner will not be indulging in but nevertheless, it does go on.

There are two types of people who indulge in the dressing up of baby wear pastime. There are those who have a distinct dislike of growing up, who cannot accept or strongly dislike the idea of responsibility. Dressing up in baby wear for them has no sexual connotations, it is simply a distraction from their responsibilities. So, that will be a man thing then?

During their time in baby wear they feel absolved from the trials of what is expected of them every day. They derive no sexual pleasure from it and see it as pure escapism. Dressed in baby wear, they usually need another willing participant to aid them in their fetish who will treat them like a baby, dressing them, feeding them and generally taking charge.

At the other end of the scale are a group of people who do get a sexual buzz from dressing in baby wear. This, they say, is in no way connected to paedophilia. They have no sexual leanings towards children but are, in fact, the ones that want to be babied. They have a particular interest in nappies and the other party would be put in the position of changing that nappy and dressing the person in baby wear.

It is these people that will engage in sexual activity whilst wearing nappies and baby wear. This is not a fetish that can easily be explained without most people bordering into the morally wrong area of associating sex with children. It is also a very confined group of people that take to this activity and is not something you will usually hear them throw into dinner party conversation.
