Circus Elephant

A man bought an old circus elephant but couldn't afford its upkeep. So he decided to raise money by organizing a contest with a first prize of $30,000. Entry fee was $10 a person and the prize was for anybody who could make the elephant jump four feet in the air.
People came far and wide to try and win the $30,000, but nobody was able to persuade the elephant to jump until a Texan pulled up in a stretch limo. Taking a baseball bat from the limo, he proceeded to whack the elephant hard in the nuts. The poor elephant jumped in the air and the Texan won the $30,000.
Sadly, the event had failed to attract sufficient entrants to cover the prize money and so the elephant's owner arranged another contest. This time he offered $30,000 to anyone who could get the elephant to swing its head back and forth as it was saying "no". Once again, nobody proved successful until the Texan in the limo arrived to the contest.
"Remember me?" said the Texan, stepping from the car.
The elephant nodded a worried-looking "yes".
The Texan held up the baseball bat. "Want me to use this again?"
The elephant took one look at that bat and swung its head from side to side.
